Our Archive and Search Room is open every Tuesday and Thursday from 10am to 4pm; and by appointment only on Fridays from 10am to 4pm.
The research room will be closed from Friday 15 December to Monday 8 January 2018 and will reopen on Tuesday 9 January 2018.

We're here to help people with their family history primarily in the Border counties (Berwickshire, Peeblesshire, Roxburghshire and Selkirkshire) of Scotland, as well as in adjacent counties of England and Scotland.

Recording Gravestone Inscriptions at Linton, Roxburghshire
